About the team:
The Quality Services (QS) team plays a key role in conducting manual testing across a variety of products and services within the Amazon ecosystem. Our mission is to support Amazon in upholding its commitment to being the most customer-centric company by providing fast, reliable, and high-quality testing solutions.
Role Description:
- Execute test plans, create detailed test cases, generate necessary test data, and deliver clear, concise test results within set timelines.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the project/product functionality and adapt to evolving requirements and documentation.
- Identify gaps in test cases and proactively seek additional issues or bugs beyond the defined testing scope.
- Implement efficient testing processes to ensure thorough validation of product updates.
- Stay flexible to shifting project priorities and adjust testing strategies as needed.
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine the source of defects or issues.
Key Roles Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Adhere to established SOPs, testing methods, and defined processes.
- Execute test cases for simple components or features of applications, services, and devices to ensure they function as intended.
- Meet daily productivity and quality standards. Log defects and issues encountered during testing, and track their resolution according to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Propose process improvements to enhance task efficiency wherever possible.
- Contribute to enhancing the quality of assigned features and components.
- Acquire necessary knowledge through peer interactions, hands-on training, and resources provided by the Device and Quality teams, such as SharePoint and internal wikis.
Basic Qualification Required :
- Educational Background: BE, BTech, MCA, BSc (Computers), BCA, MSc (Information Technology) or equivalent.
- Work Experience: No prior experience required; freshers are welcome.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualification Required :
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated testing skills and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in the Windows operating system, with familiarity in tools like Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Firefox.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy.
- A strong sense of ownership, commitment to deadlines, and readiness to take on new challenges.

- Working Hours: Typically 8 AM to 5 PM (subject to change based on business needs).
