S&P Global Internship 2025 – Hyderabad
Internship Overview :
S&P Global is looking for an Application Security Intern to conduct vulnerability assessments, analyze software composition, and work closely with development and DevOps teams to enhance security measures.
As an Application Security Intern, you will:
- Perform security vulnerability assessments on applications.
- Analyze scan results to identify false positives in code and business logic.
- Identify and report third-party library vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to remediate security issues.
- Work with DevOps teams to integrate security scans in CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and best practices.
- Assist in security awareness and training programs.
- Develop and maintain security assessment procedures and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct penetration testing and source code reviews.
- Identify vulnerabilities in applications, libraries, and frameworks.
- Work with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Improve security automation in the development lifecycle.
- Assist in incident response and security risk assessments.
Eligibility Criteria :
- B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Open to students/freshers interested in Application Security.
Preferred Skills :
- Application Security & Penetration Testing.
- Strong knowledge of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and Common Vulnerabilities & Exposures (CVE).
- Experience with Static & Dynamic Code Analysis.
- Understanding of CI/CD security integration.
- Knowledge of Python, Java, or C++ for security automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
