About the Role :

As a Software Engineer at Optum, you will be responsible for developing scalable Java applications, microservices, and real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka and Spring Boot. You will work in an Agile environment to enhance system performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain Java applications with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • Design and implement microservices using Spring Boot.
  • Integrate Kafka for large-scale, real-time data streaming.
  • Work with MongoDB or NoSQL databases to manage application data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy new features.
  • Contribute to coding standards, best practices, and deployment strategies.
  • Analyze and resolve technical and application issues.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills :

  • Strong Java programming experience.
  • Expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
