Role Overview :
Thomson Reuters Labs is seeking an enthusiastic Automation Testing Engineer (Fresher) with skills in Python and Web Scraping. You’ll contribute to editorial operations, create scalable scripts, and work alongside cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and maintain automation scripts using Python
- Implement Web Scraping workflows using libraries like Selenium, BeautifulSoup, etc.
- Communicate with editorial teams to understand process automation needs
- Debug and upgrade existing scripts, modules, and utilities
- Participate in technical documentation, code reviews, and audits
- Support content preparation and global trade validation workflows
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree (any stream); strong coding knowledge preferred
- 0–1 year experience in Python programming, Web Scraping, or Automation
- Basic knowledge of libraries like Pandas, Selenium
- Familiarity with Excel formulas, macros, and data processing
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Understanding of API usage, data flow, and testing concepts
- Eagerness to learn new tools, frameworks, and tech stacks
