IBM Hiring: Application Developer – Google Cloud Migration | Entry-Level | Bangalore (Hybrid)
Your Role and Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement cloud migration strategies for IBM clients.
- Work with Google Cloud technologies like BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and more.
- Build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines on GCP.
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform and other DevOps tools.
- Support cloud logging, monitoring, and debugging of cloud applications.
- Collaborate with teams to modernize and migrate applications to cloud environments.
- Stay updated with emerging cloud trends and best practices.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise :
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including:
- Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Workflow, Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Run, DataProc, and Cloud Functions.
- Building end-to-end data pipelines on GCP.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience in logging, monitoring, and infrastructure automation using Terraform.
- Strong understanding of cloud migration strategies and execution.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience :
- GCP Professional Data Engineer (PDE) certification.
- Experience in conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms like IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Red Hat.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development and application modernization.
Education :
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
