Role Overview :
Are you passionate about cloud operations and modern web technologies? Airtel is looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer (VMware) to join our Cloud Ops team. This is a unique opportunity for fresh graduates who want to kickstart their career by working on real-time systems, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
You’ll get hands-on exposure to tools like Docker, Kubernetes, FastAPI, React, and more — all while contributing to scalable and impactful solutions.
Must-Have Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in Python with frameworks like FastAPI or Flask
- Basic to intermediate experience in React.js and frontend best practices
- Strong grasp of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for app deployment
- Familiarity with Git, testing tools, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work in Agile environments and take ownership of tasks end-to-end
Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have) :
- Understanding of infrastructure components: VMs, storage, networking, backups
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Knowledge of OpenStack environments
- Exposure to SQL/NoSQL databases and caching systems
